Internship Plant Science
Internship Plant Science II: new experiments
Are you passionate about crop innovation and want to apply your knowledge in a practical setting? Join Plense Technologies and help revolutionize how we understand plant behaviour! Our cutting-edge ultrasound sensors reveal how plants respond to biotic and abiotic stressors non-invasively and in real-time.
Why work with us
By joining us, you won’t just be working with technology- you’ll be contributing to a new era of plant research, directly impacting sustainable agriculture and the future of crop health. Joining our team as plant science intern includes: 🔬 Pioneering Research: Be part of a team that’s pushing the boundaries of plant science and sensor technology. 🌍 Real-World Impact: Help tackle critical challenges in agriculture, from climate resilience to disease management. 💡 Hands-On Experience: Apply your knowledge and gain practical experience by working with our innovative sensor systems. 🏆 Learn from experts: Collaborate with industry leaders such as researchers, breeders, and growers.
What You'll Do
You can discover new fast plant dynamics currently unknown to the world, create methodologies for early water or disease stress detection and more! Your role will be to conduct experiments with different phenotyping technologies. These data streams will then be correlated to the acoustic features from the novel ultrasound sensors. Key activities include: 🛠️ Setting up requirements such as ground-truth datasets and experimental setups 📊 Collecting data from sensors or manual measurements 🔍 Interpreting data with help from our data scientist
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for driven, curious, and proactive Plant Science MSc students who want to see their research make a tangible impact in the real world. As a part of our team, you'll work in an innovative environment where your ideas contribute directly to solving challenges in modern agriculture. Key requirements: • Currently pursuing an MSc in Plant Science or a related field • Strong understanding of plant physiology and related biological processes • Experience working with data (e.g., experimental, sensor-based, or field data) • Proactive and solution-oriented, with a can-do mentality • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly • Passion for sustainability and innovation in agriculture
